Just finished recarpeting the inside of my Mac 23. Recarpeted the inside walls and the pop top. I used a dark blue carpet from Lowes and it looks great. Really goes with the light blue seating. I used a palm sander to get all the fuzz off and some acetone in places. I used Roberts Indoor/Outdoor Carpet adhesive from Lowes (Home Depot also has it)and it worked great. It's water based so no fumes to kill you!. Installation hint for the walls:
Get a roll of brown paper and tape to the sides starting at the top then use a utility knife and cut around the bottom. This will give you a good pattern and you can trim the carpet later at the bottom with sisors. My boat has wood strips around the top of the carpet. I held the carpet in place, (no glue) and put the strips back on screwing through the top of the new carpet then trowled on the glue and pressed down.It worked great and the carpet really sucked down and was smooth. Took about one and a half gallon of glue and a 1/8" x 1/8" x 1/16" Flat Top V Trowl. Also acetone will get and glue off the carpet if yo get any on the exposed surface. Good Luck
