The foam blocks take up all the storage under the V-berth and is not even water resistant. As for the leak, the dagger board area under the galley sink is dry. The ballast tank leak is the same amount of water in the bilge. I will start off with it two or so inches below the vent hole. I think it starts to leak about four or five inches below the hole. The boat floats on the water line and we have not had it loaded for cruising yet. I have not been able to find any errant screw holes or anything so easy. I have a bad feeling I will have cut the floor out to fing the leak. Thanks for the help Rod
