Hi Kathy, I kind of copied one I saw at www.wadler.org . I had a seperate base bracket fabricated by a local shop and mounted it permently just in front of the mast base using the mast support post bolt thats already there and one more about 3" forward of that. The jin pole I made out of a piece of 1 1/2 in. electrical conduit. Added a winch I already had and some eye bolts at the top for connection to the mast and a block for the lifting rope. I've tred it out twice so far works good , I've steadied the mast by hand to control sway of the mast but think i'll add baby stays to help. I used a rope looped around the mast just above the spreaders for lifting ,worked ok ,but I saw in Wadler's pics he uses the forsail halyard to connect to the jin pole. I'll try that next. I'll try to get some pictures as soon as I can.
