In Response To: Sum - an idea I saw for those steep ramps I mentioned earlier (Chris & Lenore - Mac 26S - Teliki)

I had to cut them down a few inches to fit in my side yard... but they are above the rubrail.

I tend to think the horizonal pvc is too high to help much...

if you put the pvc lower to protect the boat from the trailer, it can work pretty well. I've done it for several boats to help guide the boat to the front roller.

I slit the sides of the pvc and slid it over the top rail of the trl:

I did the same on the new tralier but used 2" PVC.
