Here is part of MY solution. (Not original I might add........so keep up with the original ideas Sum so I can use them)Only works if boat is centered. I pull the boat up by the bow. I do have West Marine guideposts. Work.....just okay.... and don't extend out of water very much when retrieving (but vary ramp to ramp, they are above the rubrail on the hard). It does help to leave the keel down just a bit to hit the trailer V support. I kept hitting the fenders with bottom/sides of boat. Helps centering. Hang in there Sum, I think you KNOW what your capabilities ARE without any criticism.
