I used 1 gal and 1 pt alabative for my boat. and I got cheap 125/gal paint. Some epoxy paints can take getting dried out, but many bottom paints want to be wet all the time, (no trailering after splashing). I hate alabative for the mess, chalking, etc... but it works for me...
