In Response To: sleeping outside in the cockpit area (walt26scolorado)

Thanks for the great idea's... Last year, the older son took a tent with him and stayed in the tent for a couple nights while the wife, younger son and I stayed in the boat. Older son in tent had the small dog with him who thinks he's a tough guy (plus a radio).

The hammock would be a lot simpler to store and easy to set up at night so Im going look around a little for options. Plus no pad needed. I dont think I would want to sleep in it but I dont think the kid will have any trouble. Seems that some sort of hammock which connected in maybe two places to the aft railing and connected in the front near the winch or maybe even used the winch might work (about 7 - 8 foot span). Im still a little worried about stressing things..
