Glad to see you are back. I noticed in an earlier post, that you mentioned your sailing experience was limited. After you launch your boat a few times, in different conditions, at different ramps, your gears will start turning again to remedy the retrieval problem. Judging by the pics of your "Monster Garage" , you have a leg up on most guys already in terms of maintenance/modifying. I don't think I will ever stop tinkering with the boat in some fashion or other. I find that when I'm not sailing, I'm thinking about sailing, or reading about it.(might it be a disease?) Which includes any Mac forum. It would be a shame not to have you contribute, because I for one like to see what others have tried, good or bad. I am sure your confidence in your abilities is enough to allow you to disregard negative criticism. I do think that most guys genuinely criticize to help, and the ones that don't? Who cares? Most of all, get out and sail, and the payback is well worth it.
