When coming into my slip, the wind is genrally at my stern. Turning into the slip is not easy, because of the close proximaty of a swimming area float line, making it necessary to make a sharp turn to the dock. When docked, there's only about 10 feet separating our boat from the neighbor. Any of you guys experience problems in navigating at slow speed without the use of the centerboard and only the outboard for control? The water is only about 4 feet deep at my dock, sdo I can't use my centerboard or rudder. Any suggestions? The marina isn't interested in dredging the dock areas. Sometimes, I'm tempted to just jump overboard and pull the boat in with a painter.
