I fly a 26M asymmetrical spinnaker on 26C boat, I'm not sure if the foot on this sail is any bigger than the one designed for the C, it appears to have a quite a bit longer luff because of the taller mast on the M. I usually sheet it to cleats mounted mid-cockpit using some light 1/4 lines. I use a sock on it. I have been running the sheets between the forestay and the spinnaker and dousing the sail with the sock each time I gibe. I would like to buy longer sheets and run them in front of the spinnaker so when I gibe the sail I will not have to douse it but let it fly straight out in front of the boat before bringing it back in with the other sheet. I'm wondering if anyone else is doing this and if so how long are your sheets ? I have enough spaghetti in the cockpit now and only want to buy the minimum amount to do the job. thanks, Bob
