In Response To: I put mine about 1/2 way between the forstay and the top of the mast... (Vick Vickery/Mac26S/Gulfport, MS)

....after installing that chutescoop, it added about a foot to the length of my theoretical luff. Raising it a foot or more should be okay. I have a track on the mast for the spinnaker pole, so I guess it won't matter.
