it appears the flukes are a little more narrow than normal, but weight is ok.

(I have a 8# and 13#, and either seems to hold w/ proper scope and about 9' of chain.)

at that price, hard not to try it... ($20)

it may not take (side load) bending forces as well as the hi-tensile steel, but it shouldn't have to, unless its hung up in rocks or submerged trees.

BUT and any anchor bends if you get it stuck, and use the boat to try and free it.

BTDT!

-at first I was thinking someone stole your fortress, (those do seem to grow legs), but kinda doubt someone would take a steel danforth...
