Adding a bow roller on the trailer helped a huge amount getting my 26S forward on at the ramps I launch at.
Some people also blow the ballast out before putting the boat on trailer using 12 volt high volume low pressure pumps and this also makes things easier (search should bring up lots of threads on this).
A little aside, I dont blow my ballast but this weekend, picked up this colman manual air pump (large dual action quick pump) - seems to work well and was easy to modify for the application (some electrical tape) http://www.coleman.com/coleman/colemancom/detail.asp?product_id=2000001074&categoryid=10060
The manual air pump is only for a "situation" where I somehow get the boat stuck on a sand bar and need to blow the ballast to get loose (even with dead batteries). The manual pump probably is less than 1 pound and Ill stash it in one of the storage locations on the boat which are a hassle to get to.
