Looks like we will be getting a slip on the lake,and only worry about hauling it twice a year. By the way , how sturdy is the swing keel on a venture 23 . We will be on,lake of the ozarks and have had an episode with a tree under the water once last year. I hear if you leave the lock pin out you stand a chance of a knock down,so if you pin it what is the possible damage of hitting somthing submerged?
