I have a vinyl 20# navy anchor

The navy anchor works (vinyl coated), but I think it the 20# that really makes it work. (works very well in shifting currents).

I don't seem to have much problems anchoring, but I've been doing it for a lifetime. I just try to set it properly and have enough scope.

Reseting is another issue, and a lot depends on the bottom.

matching the anchor to the bottom is more important than the size or brand, IMHO.

Sometimes a graphling hook or mushroom works best...

but at 20bucks I'm tempted to buy one of those.... -its always nice to have another anchor and rode ready to go... just in case.
