(pic) (Mike Coon 26S) Used it twice, it never held in soft muck bottom. The real Danforth on the other end held fine in the changing tide. They were both the same size. Tried 3 times to get a se the second time I used it with no luck. It is in the garage attick now. I have a small real Danforth. a 12# knockoff that is well proportioned, and a small and medium Northill. I use danforth for soft and northill for hard bottoms, with fine success. I always set the anchor hard before I depend on it. If the anchor will not set, I change anchors and try again.
