. . . But then it has not been in salt water either. I heard that the new Mac "M" trailers are aluminum; wonder how they do and if they have some special coating - like galvanized steel. Even when I get to salt water it will be for a specified period, like a month if I am lucky. The entire rudder assembly I have been working on is aluminum. I do plan on converting it to stainless when I more funds.
