we did some shrimping, and still ended up 2nd in class... I think a odine's backstay broke when they were flying the shute... but it bent to the side so maybe the upper shroud let go... not really sure. (will find out on saturday at awards party) but no one was hurt. so it alright. I'm still sore from running the shute for 4 hrs... -nice wind for this time of year... usually it starts to calm down by now... -check that rigging!!! ('sunquest' a beneteau 41 riped their shute... the little red rag at top of mast..)
