I just got back from San Carlos, Mexico after sailing my Macgregor 26D for the last four weeks. We had and awesome trip logging in over 400 miles as we work our way to Puerto Escondido and back. The boat held up really well and we were able to get right in their with all the big boys. We also got to a few anchorages none of them were able to get do to shallow waters (Mulege and San Sebastian). Crossing the sea both ways felt pretty committing and we topped out at 7.4 knots running back from Santa Rosalia. If you live in the Soutwest U.S. I would highly recommend a trip down there. Here are a few photos.
