Hi,

I have just purchased a Mac 26 which has a 10 HP 2-stroke evinrude engine. I own a new 4 hp four stroke engine that i would rather use because it is more fuel efficient and cleaner.

Do you think that a 4hp 4-stroke would be sufficient? I am not much interested in speed and if I can make better than 4 knots with motor power i would be pleased. I do not Sail in current as a rule but that is a possibility - the inter-coastal is close to me.

thanks for any input,

garry
