(pic) (Mike Coon 26S) Well, I took the new 6hp path trying to keep weight down, and to some extent cost. I had been thinking I should have bought the elec. 9.8 since I only remove 3x per year and that is when the boat is out of the water. I wasnt thinking too much about steering but I think we will both have some tradeoffs to deal with. I will be happy if the darn thing just works reliably, unlike my 20yr old Nissan. Will let you know how I like mine. Good luck to you -you will be happy with the elec start when you fall off the boat and your wife is able to come back and get you
