My daughter's husband had a 30 foot sail boat at Navajo for a number of years and liked it a lot. He is by Tucson now with no sailboat and misses it badly. We still might go there before we have to go east for a wedding in late June.
If you end up going there let us know and maybe we could meet. Also if I was going there from Denver I would not go over Wolf Creek pass, but go a little further south and go over Chama Pass. Go south on 15 to Walsenburg then over to Fort Garland, then south to San Luis, then west over to Antonito, then west over Chama Pass to Chama and on over to Navajo. I've been over all those passes many times going to the car show in Pueblo and Chama isn't the climb that Wolf Creek is. All those routes will be twisty though.
