How to retrieve anchor

Hi,
I was about to launch my recently purchased 26S and as I went to fasten the rode to the anchor I was not able to find the anchor locker. I went over the inventory list and found that there was no anchor rode included.
I can see how using the anchor without rode makes it easier to use in really deep water but how do you retrieve it?
If I wanted to use the anchor in the traditional way (with rode) how should I go about it? Any anchoring tips would be appreciated!
