Posted By: Mike Coon 26S Date: 4/27/09 10:20a.m. Report: outside forum guidelines In Response To: Mast raising system/cabin leaks (Paul Mitchell) It came with a bail that was to be bolted to the mast, 6 feet up from the mast hinge. The gin pole bolts to the base as well at the front and there is a short cable from the pole to the bail. This attachment has a ring with the two side support wires that come down each side of the mast and hook into the eyestraps on the deck. The line from the winch (on the pole) is led down ro the bow deck cleat. I'll have to take pictures and send them when I get the boat to the lake and use it. My system came from Blue Water Yachys. Maybe they have a diagram you can look at?
