Anchore & Rode Bag

This bothered me for a long time, I think I'm over it now. I realized there are other boats that also don't have anchor lockers, that's why they make Anchore & Rode Bag's.

So I use one of these, I'm used to it now. I keep my anchor, chain and rode in the bag, stored in the laz. One thing nice about these bags is that it allows the rode dry out nicely.

If I don't plan to anchor overnight, I put the bag with the chain and rode in the motor well, attached to a danforth anchor I keep on the stern rail, for emergency.

If I plan to anchor overnight, I put the bag on the bow, attached to a 16lb bruce anchor. Of course an anchor locker would be nice, but this works fine.

On the hook, you can see the blue bag up there on the bow.
