The keel on my 1970 V-21 consists of three pieces of half inch iron plate. The plates are approximately the shape of the keel with the center plate about a half inch wider on each edge to form the rounding to the leading and trailing edges. The keel bolt and cable bolt goes through all three plates. The whole thing is encased in fiberglass, that gives the final shape to the keel.

You have a later boat the mine, as the boats built before 1970 had similar keels.

I can give you the overall dimension of the keel on my V-21 if you would like.
