If you get Good Old Boat you know about this man's trip already. No fund raising, no sponsors, no record setting attempt or anything similar on the website or the trip. Just a former Coastie who's been in the Arctic before and decided to make the trip on his own.

I've been in the Apostle Islands at the end of May and seen ice on the water and un-melted snow on the north side of the islands. I guess he's practicing for the Arctic.
