Don't think I've ever seen even a "cheap" lamp w/o wick adjust. (nm) (Sam Hunter, '93 Mac26S, Atlanta & Pensacola) they (W7P) do make a anchor lamp, but its huge. (it has the right lens) this model would not be uscg regs(3mi)... -But it should work fine as an anchor lamp, in most anchorages I would want to anchor in. (same as does my davis mega light) -the wick adjustment on my lap is a bent brass rod, not the wheel type normally used/seen.
