A bow boarding ladder. (pic) (Sam Hunter, '93 Mac26S, Atlanta & Pensacola) If you live near the Ohio or Mississippi river look at the boarding systems on river boats. You could attack the ladder to a pivot platform on the bow, and run a line from the end of the ladder to a block on the mast down to a cleat. When you touch bottom as you come into shore you could then lower the ladder to the beach, and walk off.
