Hi Rod,
Perfect timing - Teliki was home AND the aft locker was empty.
I saw lots of solutions but wanted something simple that would give a decent amount of "flat space".
I used 1 X 6 western cedar planks and custom cut them to fit into the V.
Works well - I have a 5 gal fuel tank that fits under the drain lines on the right and three stacked Rubbermaind containers on the left. That leaves lots of space around the sides for line, anchors, stove etc.
To hold it all together I used a single "backbone" 1 X 6 that is glued with PL construction adhesive as well as brass screws.
There is also a 4 inch 2 X 2 leg at the front to provide added support.
There are also cutouts in the front for bilge pump (although I never have any water) and speed/depth transducers.
