But - a long piece of plastic tube that fits a funnel so the funnel is outside the laz might just be the ticket. We don't burn much fuel anyway but when I spilled that one time the wood floor soaked it up. No matter how good a ventilation system you have it'll stink of gas for quite some time. BTW we have a powered bilge blower (only needed it once) and two 4 inch vents. One (on the blower) scavenges from the laz bottom. The fuel tank is also vented externally plus I have sealed off the laz from the cabin (gunwales were open plus cockpit drain line is not sealed). But I know it's as illegal as h#@@... Chris
