Date: 5/6/09 7:52p.m. Report: outside forum guidelines In Response To: Lazarette floor (Rod Mac26D Ottawa) At the forward bulkhead wall in the lazarette, a 2 x 4 stringer was laid athwartship. The undersides were angle cut at the ends to match the turn of the bilge where they contact, to avoid pressure points. A 3/4" plywood shelf was cut to the contour of the hull bottom back to the transom. Forward, the shelf is just high enough from the bottom to clear the epoxy bonded fishfinder transducer underneath.
