And no, I do not mind at all if someone thinks some of my ideas are worth borrowing. Truth is, most of them are taken from ideas others have already contributed, or at least are modifications of ideas that came from others.
I know that some ideas that really were original with me have also occurred independently to others. I especially like those ideas for the variations, and the reasons for variations, between different folks.
One of the reasons I wanted a "mass produced" boat is that there would be sources of answers, ideas, solutions, and questions that are just not available with boats produced in small numbers. I've been a frequent visitor (and hopefully have contributed some value) on TSBB and the Seaward and Mac boards for a long time, and feel I have gotten much more than I have contributed.
I started a photobucket setup a while back, seemed pretty straightforward, so I'll probably go back and give it another shot.
Obviously, I am failing to explain something with the furler support / "sprit" (is that the right term for something that extends from the pulpit rather than the deck?). It makes perfect sense to me, but that never means that I am clearly expressing things to others. Are you looking for "how" or "why" or ... whatever? Let me know and I'll try to be more clear.
Also, I think it was you that had the engine on the starboard side. Anyway, someone posted here with a pic that had the boarding ladder on the port side, at the motor well, and the engine on the starboard side, at the lazarette.
I have been trying to solve some stern anchoring issues for a long time now, and seeing that pic was like a blinding flash of insight into the obvious!!!
Haven't worked out the details, heck, haven't even given it significant thought yet, as I am "projected out" and have to be ready for the Florida 120 in a week, but that has promise as a solution to several problems / issues that I want to solve.
So, thanks again for the comments, I will try to get more stuff posted, but most of all, thanks to all those from whom I have received so many ideas and solutions.
