Sum, I'm so happy you got the boat out!

rest assured, the steep leaning curve will diminish with each trip!

and you've already learned an important sailor attribute, having a backup plan. or 3...

-I do wonder what you're planning for the aft berth... huge volume, sush's bed?

also I'd check on what type of anchor other use... a claw or plow might be a better choice for a 2nd anchor. (I carry 3 anchors).

also, when it gets warmer ruth might like a SOS (inflatable) type of pfd.. (but the are kinda of pricy).

-if it makes you fell any better I almost drowned on my 1st solo w/ a hobie 16.
