........at a very small focus group here and you might want to not give up too soon on your idea. If it is any consolation we are going to copy it and I'll bet for every person that copies something like that there is someone out there that doesn't have the time or inclination to make it themselves and would like to just pick up the phone and order one.

If you were to make these I'll bet people would want to match the colors of their biminis, sail covers, etc. and you would have to stock some of the common colors to do that and in some cases like ours you just wouldn't have the right color. In our situation we picked a color for our Bimini, Ocean Blue, that most sail cover and bimini makers don't offer, but GMI Top Design had in stock even though it wasn't in their online colors, but that might not come up too often.

One reason we like it is that with our head now in the main cabin if we happen to have someone else on the boat with us they could use the head with some privacy without having to put the companion way cover on.

We are also going to take a hard look at doing away with that cover and look at doors also. Those covers must of been designed in the dark ages and just hung around.
