Your experience reminds me (and probably others that have had similiar experiences) of our first trip. Your learning curve is steep, but sounds like you are both up for it. Routine will eventually overtake many tasks. Enjoy. Nicely written story. Did you notice the "ground moving" when you finally came ashore? Doesn't take long to get your "sea legs". J
