I have been camping with Pam for 35 years now, mostly on the ground though. I think Pam takes it much more seriously then I do. Back in the 70's I read a good book by Colin Fletcher, "The Complete Backpacker". He carried the concept of minimalism to a higher degree. Unfortunately Pam never read it! We always have way more then we need. We discovered sailing together and she handles the helm (tiller) much better than I do. Sailing isn't just a hobby, it's a way of life. Welcome to the club.
