Our CDF Furler uses a 3/16" line so it was very hard on your hands. It occurred to me that the length of line the CDF reel needed was actually fairly short. As it happened the 30 ft. of 1/4" line was actually twice as long as needed by the reel. So I cut it in half and attached a 1/2" line easy on your hands and easy to cleat. This has made reefing much easier.
