'82 M15 Rigging & Other Questions

Hi: I recently bought it on e-bay and I took it sailing recently w/out rigging it in my backyard first. Needless to say the local fishermen got some good laughs when I took my first sail. I can't figure out how to hook the aft end of the boom to the top of the mast. I can't figure out how to keep the rudder in its place w/out wiring it down. I need a new mast step and don't know where I can get it. This is just a few of the topics troubling me about the boat. Anyone who can help me solve these dilemmas will earn my utmost respect and appreciation. Thanks, Tim
