I'm looking for some information on our new (1983) M-15. Pulled everything out of the boat for cleaning and inspection and found about 1/2 gallon of water in each storage locker in the cabin. In addition I found about 3 or 4 gallons of water in the compartment that holds the foam floatation. I'm a little mystified where this water is coming from. The cusions don't really show any signs of being wet. There are two clam cleats on the outside of the port cockpit coaming and I would guess one of them is for a jib down haul. Not sure what the other is used for. The cushions are original and I would like to know the best way to clean them. The boat came with a Tanaka 3hp outboard - anyone have any experience with these?
