I have a friend that is a master marine carpenter here in San Diego and he crafted the grate for me. We made it out of Ipe wood which is extremely hard...even moreso than teak, with great weathering characteristics as well. While making it, I was telling him that I thought other Monty owners would likely flip for it. I am certain that if you wanted one, and provided accurate dimensions or a template, he could do one and ship. Just let me know and I will gladly put you in touch. Best, JB
