Yes Carlos,
I am spoiled this time of year. Dauntless sits in the water less than 10 minutes from the front door and the weather is often breezy through the winter months. My work schedule being what it is affords me a lot of opportunities to get out and use her. I'd say on average I get her out of the slip at least 3-4 times a week. I hate paying for a slip but it allows me to get out for a sail even if I only have a couple of hours to kill. Without the slip that would never happen.
Havasu is actually a pretty neat place to sail in the winter. You will more than likely have the lake almost all to yourself. The weather right now is still in the 80's and the wind blows a lot. If you come from out of town to visit, the Nautical Inn sits right on the water next to the marina and they have great room rates for off season. I think it's $79/night for a room that's right on the beach. I keep thinking that I need to get a hold of an M15 and an M17 and have them available to rent as a package deal with a room at the Nautical for the winter Monty guys that want to get away from the snow for a week and do some winter sailing!
Maybe we could entice Bob to station one over here for "test sails"! Yeah, that's the ticket! How 'bout it Bob?!
