Hey Everyone, Just wanted to invite you to come get a winter sailing "fix" with us here in Lake Havasu, AZ next February. We'll be having our second "Havasu Pocket Cruiser's Poker Run" incorporating a 2 day 34 mile sail. But that's not all! This is a little different then most sails, as we want you to bring your "Admiral". So we've made this event a little on the "pampered" side. Yes winter sailing can be cold...Staying on the boat in cold conditions is usually not high on the Admirals list of things she wants to do. Thus the pampered lifestyle of this run. No cooking, sleeping on the boat, port-a-potties, condensation dripping on your forehead...Nope...we'll be stayin at Hotels that are right on the water. Boats will be slipped, so no wet feet. We'll let the restaurants cook AND clean up for us!! I know, I know...it's not the same as anchoring out....but for a lot of sailing wives...It's better. Last year we had 15 boats and crews participate, 4 of them Montys.
