Fiberglass resins

Report: outside forum guidelines

Most boats are made with Vinyl ester or Polyester I believe. My question is what are the M boats made with? I think epoxy is too expensive for production boats, vinyl ester seems to be the best for the price and polyester seems to be a very poor material for a resin. Is this accurate? Are all the M boats made with vinyl ester?
