Is Lyle C. Hess Here he is at my factory lofting a hull. (this was pre digital camera) haha. He loved his work. All sailboats with wrinkles are the result of Lyle Hess and his genius as a designer. There is nothing better than Lyle's Nor'Sea 27 or Montgomery 17. Bruce Meyers is one of the best tooling men around. He Tooled molds for me and also did the Bristol Channel Cutter 28. He is the father of the DUNE BUGGY called the Meyers Manx back in the 1960s. He once told me he made and lost 6 million bucks (with a smile). An incredible guy. He is in his mid 80s now. (yes, I was kinda skinny back then ) : Bob
