Report: outside forum guidelines

Just got back from 2 days out on the lake anchoring out with friends. We took our 7'11" dinghy with us to use for the first time. At anchor last night there was a good breeze causing the waves to lap the hull and that oh-so-familiar Monty Chuckle to start. EXCEPT...the dang dinghy "chuckled" so loud it was unbeleivable. Normally this doesn't bother us, but last night was terrible. Apparently, the open-hulled dinghy just resonates that sound. Ugh! It might be back to the inflatable for the next overnighter! Photo is of "Dauntless" and "Boomerang" our friend's F-31 tri at anchor in Steamboat Cove on Lake Havasu at sunrise this morning. Talk about old school vs new school!
