Sean....I learned a long time ago a "hard shell dinghy" is OK for rowing....BUT for most all other occasions they should be ruled a "Public Menace!"....In a following sea they become a "smart torpedo" aimed @ my transom....or a very large drag....they bang against one's hull @ all hours of the night trying to gain entrance to your snug bunk...Inflatables are typically much lighter, and one can deflate that "sucker" and stow it, if conditions get too "sporting"!! By the way....should I bring a dinghy to Lake Havasu next month?? (inflatable of course!!)..."SIX"...Dan
