with a little practice you will learn the tricks of where and how to tie for the night and tow a fiberglass lapstrake dingy. my folks owned a minto back in the 80s the 'noise' sean describes is familiar.

trust me sean ... having a 'salty dink' behind the 'D' is very worth the effort. besides, the M8 makes for fun afternoon and evening sailing!

my #1 suggestion for towing is giving the dingy enough room. if you don't have a floating line for the dink GET ONE. you will only catch this line once in your engine prop to learn your lesson ...

if you know you will be in conditions where swamping can occur get a cover made to keep the seas out ... this also assist in reducing the need to bail out rainwater; and is helpful in hiding the garbage bags, beer and wine bottles 'stored' in the dingy.
