We have a floating line and that's a good suggestion for anyone that doesn't....don't ask me how I know.. I'm thinking that the dink might go up for sale here shortly. It's too bad cause she's in great shape and has the full sail kit and oars both. It is much prettier than the zodiac for sure...and tows much lighter, but it just doesn't have the stability (obviously) and the dang chuckling about drove me to drink. We had her tied up snugly with fenders between her and Dauntless. That wasn't a problem at all. I almost got up in the middle of the night and let the painter out about 30 feet to let her drift downwind and make her noise down there but I'm sure sooner or later the wind would have changed direction and she'd come banging into the boat. I'm hoping that or friends got some pics of Daunltess towing her while we were under sail.
