Why CDI?

The only reason to use the CDI system over other proven systems is its ability to partially reef the jib and I do that quite often on my Vagabond 17. It definitely makes raising and stowing the mast more difficult. I will not be putting a furler on my M15 because I use it for single day sailing. I hope to round up a used p-15 jib to serve as a storm sail.
